A Look Back At 2011

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

2011 was quite the year! It was my first year as a blogger and even though most of my friends and family still have no idea exactly what a "blog" is (my Grandma was SO confused when I tried to explain it to her) I had so much fun. I compiled a little collage of events, diys, skincare tips and recipes that were some of my favorites.

I celebrated my first Mother's Day. Look at my tubby little guy :) This was also the last day I was blonde. I miss it a teensy weensy bit.

I attempted homemade ice cream for the first time. This was such a yummy treat but almost too good to make more than a few times a year.

I discovered I love making my own jewelry. Here is one of my first diys.

Celebrated Max's first birthday!

I started the skin care series and this diy vitamin c mask was a favorite among readers.

I became obsessed with polymer clay. My kitchen cupboard is starting to look like a scene out of Hoarders with all the clay I have accumulated. This turquoise inspired piece was so much fun to make...and wear!

Ian and I celebrated 4 years of marriage.

I made a million clay bracelets.

This is one of my all time favorite skin care diys...rose water toner. Feels so refreshing!

Made sushi hand rolls for the first time. I would eat these every night for dinner if I could.

Zucchini fries became a favorite snack around my house.

We announced that we will be expecting a new member into our family! New baby will be here June 2012!

I am really looking forward to 2012 and all that it is going to bring!

Look at that little belly on Max in the first photo. Isn't that the cutest thing? What a journey Lindsay. I was so glad to ride along. I remember everyone of those posts. Looking forward to seeing what goes on in the "Delighted Momma's" world in 2012. If I don't get a chance, have a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

What a fun post. Love to see all of the cool things you've done summed up in one place (okay, not all of them, but some of them, lol). I was surprised that you miss your blond hair (even if it's only a teensy weensy bit). I couldn't love your browner hair more - I think it makes you look like a model. Well, you make you look like a model, ha ha,...you know what I mean. Merry Christmas - looking forward to another great year.

This was SO fun to look through. I can't believe you've only been blogging for a year. I swear, I have no clue how to gain readership.

Ahhhh the clay bracelets! I still need to make mine. Every time I'm at Hobby Lobby I hope to stumble across polymer clay. Because I'm always there for specific things I haven't had a chance to seek out the clay.

So many firsts! Love it. Hope 2012 is even better. :)
