1st Birthday Party

Monday, July 11, 2011

Yesterday we celebrated Max's FIRST birthday party! I still can not believe that my baby turned one. TEAR. Time is flying by way too fast..I have decided I am going to spend most of today just giving him kisses and playing with him on the floor with his new toys. I want to soak up these precious moments as long as I can.

The theme for Max's party was carnival...and even though I am not the party planner type, I can honestly say this was so much fun to plan!

Vanilla cupcakes topped with Barnum's Animal crackers.

Old fashioned root beer...along with actual beer for the adults ;)

Bright balloon bouquets.

The Birthday boy!

Food was simple. Hamburgers and hotdogs.

Blowing out his first birthday candle with Dad!

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy!

Lindsay!

The post I've been waiting for. Was actually thinking about you today. (You know, it's funny. There you are, all the way over on the other side of the world and I've only ever met you in 'cyber space' but I often think about you or one of your posts just like I would one of my girlfriends here near me.) I was wondering how the 'big' 1st birthday party went. I would so loved to have sent little Max a card or pressie but I respect your privacy. Everything looks absolutely perfect. You did such a wonderful job. And little Max is adorable.

Well done Lindsay (oh and Ian I suppose) on such a beautiful party and beautiful little boy. One down, only (at least) 20 more to go! LOL

- You are amazing, just like when we were kids. You lived right up the street, but unforunately past the stop sign which by my mothers rules was just too far from home. Even though we are in the same town and could easily see eachother more, I feel like we do with this! Great Job on Mr. Max's B-day party!!
