My Latest Fab Favorites
Monday, June 3, 2013
Today I partnering up with Fab to share some of my latest finds that I have been obsessing over. Have you heard of Fab before? It is full of unique, quirky and fun products that are guaranteed to make you do a little happy dance. Online shopping has become a serious life saver as of lately since running around town searching for the perfect whatever with two kids who basically hate shopping can be quite daunting. Recently I have been dreaming about the new home that we will soon need to decorate, summertime and a bunch of randomness since I tend to be a little ADD. So here are my must haves at the moment.
1. Little One's Easel in Orange- With chalkboard on one side and white board on the other this easy clean up item is the perfect addition to any child's room.
2. Paper Airplane Kite- The best laid back summer time activity just got a little bit cooler with this awesome kite design.
3. Wavy Stripes Pillow- An essential for my couch.
4. Eco Marine Triangles Throw- A beautiful blanket that can stay out all year round.
5. Triple Blade Herb Scissors- This neat little gadget allows you to cut, chop or mince herbs directly onto the pan or plate.
6. Driftwood iPhone Dock- I mean it does not get any cooler looking than this.
7. Diana Edelweiss Camera- a new twist on a classic 60's camera. Some of my favorite features of this camera include endless panorama formats, a removable lens for taking super-wide-angle pinhole shots and the lo-fi, soft focused vignette images it produces. As a camera lover I think I need this.
8. I Will Survive Plant Pot- The perfect funny reminder to water my indoor plants.
9. 8 Piece Knife Set- I am all about fun colorful kitchen gadgets and these make prepping dinner just a bit more exciting.
10. Home Brew Kombucha Kit- I love kombutcha and I am so excited about an already made kit that makes DIY-ing this yourself so easy!
Is there anything on Fab that you are currently coveting over? I would love to hear!

If You Love to Make Jewelry Check This Out--Chic Maker
Wednesday, March 6, 2013
I love crafting. It is so much fun to find a little time where I can be creative and bring an idea to life. But as of lately crafting/diy has taken somewhat of a backseat. It actually has nothing to do with not having ideas (I have ideas burnin through my skull) rather it's trying to find the time to actually make it to the craft store without burning the place down (kidding). No but seriously I am pretty sure the ladies at Hobby Lobby do a little cringe every time I wheel the stroller in there. Let's just say it's quite the adventure going to a craft store and trying to focus with two munchkins. So when Chic Maker asked if I would like to try out one of their jelwey making kits I was intrigued. I checked it out and of course said yes because this meant I could make something awesome and not have to wheel my little circus show into the craft store! Win win.
Chic Maker has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire and more. The concept is pretty genius. You sign up and every month you get a jewelry making kit delivered right to you with everything you need plus step by step instructions inside! Brilliant right? So if the jewlery isle at your local craft store looks completely foreign to you or you just might not have time to make the trip OR (this is a run on sentence I am aware) you love jewlery and just need a little extra inspiration this is for you.
The stacked bracelet that I made. So much fun! Having a little time to get crafty made me remember that I can still be great Mom but don't need to feel guilty for finding a little "me" time to do things that I love.

37 weeks + Elf bag review
Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Hello to 37 weeks pregnant! I can hardly believe that my baby will be in my arms in just two weeks from now. I actually had the checker at the grocery store tell me over the weekend that I have really "blown up!" Haha! She is the nicest lady so I know she meant it in a sweet way but I guess there is no denying that I really am about to pop.I was recently sent this beautiful handmade bag from Elf. I was SO excited when I received it in the mail and could not wait to do this review. The moment I opened the package I could tell that it was impeccably made. It is made of quality leather (you can choose from a variety of colors) and the inside is completely lined with hand printed batik and suede. I also love the gorgeous braided detail on the front. This is such a great bag! It is super practical for everyday use due to the nice size...a major plus for this Momma.
Elf not only carries purses and clutches, they also carry the most beautiful handmade leather shoes. How adorable are these?

In my opinion, every woman needs a quality bag so if you are on the market for something unique and truly one of a kind...Elf is the place to shop!
Review- Découverte Under Eye Repair Serum
Tuesday, April 17, 2012
Reviews are rare on my blog because unless I am truly excited to share something with you I wont bother with a review. Why waste your time and mine right? When Victoria the CEO of La Bella Figura emailed me about her eco-luxe skincare line my interest was instantly peaked. She let me know that their #1 best selling product was the Decouverte Under Eye Repair Serum.
Being the nosy esthetician that I am, I immediately hopped on over to their site to search for the ingredients and to see what it was all about before committing. I was blown away! Every ingredient listed was top notch.
As a Mom with a potty training toddler, pregnancy insomnia and another baby on the way in just 7 weeks...lets just say that my under eye area looks a little pathetic at times. I don't have dark circles but sometimes I need a little extra boost that helps me fake that I have slept 8+ hours, when really I have had only 5.
So whats my final verdict? After a week of using the Decouverte Under Eye Serum my eye area looks smoother, brighter and the checker at Trader Joes who I see every week told me that I look "rested" when I was in there this weekend. Not sure if it is all related to the eye serum but it's the only thing that I have done different.
It is a bit pricey but if you are looking to invest into a high quality product that you will see noticeable results with, I highly recommend this.
