Things That Make Me Say Yeay

A trip to one of my favorite handmade soap stores, LUSH.  Have you been before?  I kinda hate that the only picture I got was of the soap called "Demon in the Dark," but oh well the whole store smells absolutely heavenly :)

New house kitchen progress. So excited to see all that white!

Ian and I on the Vegas strip during our recent trip looking extra tourist-y.

Max at swim lessons.  At first he hated it.  He hated it like I was making him swim in shark water hated it but now he kind of loves it and gives Coach Daniel knocks and fist pumps every time he sees him.  His swim class is every Thursday and we have turned Thursday swim class into Mommy and Max date night.  So after swim class we go get frozen yogurt or dinner just the two of us and it has made Thursdays just that much better.

My favorite low carb way to enjoy sushi.  I get hand rolls and have the sushi chef fill them with extra crab meat or veggies instead of white rice.  It is super filling and tastes even better in my opinion.

Have a nice long Labor Day weekend!

Ahh that soap store sounds like something I'd LOVE! We're scent-obsessed in our house. The kitchen looks beautiful so far! :)

Oh I love lush. I love when they do the demonstrations on you. I need to go back. I am running low on my Ocean Salt scrub.

Um, I need to hear more about this new house.

I first thought the soap pictures were meat and cheese. Yes, 'cause that's where my mind goes.

Our kiddos are just finishing up week three of swim lessons. They love it.

Cute Vegas pic. Our date night is tomorrow - I hope we get just ONE good picture.

The hubs is off today, so we're petal to the metal in the kitchen. Gad, will it EVER be done?!?!

Have a good weekend!

How sweet that you and Max get date night after his swim lessons! What product(s) do you use/recommend at Lush? When I'm there I can never decide what to get!

My 10 month old had swim lessons and cried the whole time. Maybe I should try bringing frozen yogurt. :) I love LUSH too! I get so overwhelmed in there though.

Oh Mila HATED swim lessons in the beginning. I mean it was a major screamfest the first 2-3 times. Now she loves it! Always talks about her swim instructor Ivan...haha. Glad Max is enjoying it now too. And I totally want an all white kitchen someday! I just mentioned this to Matt. His response: White? Yuck! Sigh...I'm going to have to put my foot down on this one...since I do all of the cooking!

I am DYING for white kitchen cabinets instead of my yucky gold brown ones I'm currently staring at. I love love Vegas - always a fun trip and something to do all hours of the night! Can't wait to see your finished kitchen project!

Hugs, Jennifer

Oh dear. I love sushi but hate feeling bloated from the rice...do you have a "special place" and an in with the chef, or do you just ask for it w/o rice and they do it? I can't believe I haven't thought of that before.
