The best Mother's Day brunch basically ever! It was buffet style and I felt like Peter Pan in that scene in the movie Hook where they go and have that giant feast, and there is everything you could possibly imagine to eat.  It was pretty incredible and this was all that I could pile on without looking like a lost boy.

My happy and dirty three year old, who will be FOUR (wahhhhhh) in just a few short weeks. I hope I always remember him just like this.

A little peek into the boy's bathroom, which we are finally getting around to finishing up (just need a shower door). It's a subway explosion and I love it.  Also, super happy we went with dark grout and flooring since you know...boys are giant dirt balls.

I chopped my hair off and I love it.  And thanks to wayyyyy too many You Tube videos I've got the beachy waves and side braid down haha.

Ronin at his first Messy Play class.  He goes once a week for an hour with two of his little buddies and it's the cutest thing.  I have decided not to put Ronin in preschool (blog post on that coming soon) so these types of activities are perfect for him.

Things That Make Me Say Yeay

Easter egg hunting after math, which is always the best part when you're a kid.  On Wednesday a couple of my girlfriends and I got all our boys together for a fun Easter themed playdate and all the kids had a blast!

Camping essentials. Today we are headed out for a family camping getaway, and we are all so excited!  We are going to ride bikes, hike, chillax, and roast plenty of s'mores of course.  Spring break is in full swing over here and we are soaking every minute of it up.  I will be sharing pictures of our camping adventures over on Instagram if you want to follow along.

Things That Make Me Say Yeay

My sister Natalie and I at her baby shower. It was a beautiful day and I was so happy we got to spend tons of time together before she headed back to Germany this week.  The dress that I am wearing is one of my current favorites and it can be found here.

A super rad phone case called the jimmyCASE, which makes life so much easier for me since it holds up to 6 cards plus cash.  Each case is handmade with love by skilled artisans in Los Angeles, California and there are so many fun color options to choose from!  

Baseball season started and Max is on the Dodgers! WOOHOO! Since we are huge Dodger fans in real life we were all beyond pumped that he gets to represent our team this year.

The bathtub of my dreams is finalllllllly installed in our master bathroom. We encountered every single problem imaginable with this thing, but in the end I am so glad I stuck with my original design choice and didn't change a thing despite all the hurdles.  I will also share the full after of our master bath soon!

Getting all the stuff out and ready for my sister's, "Greatest Adventure" shower that I am throwing for her this Saturday.  She has flown all the way from Germany so we can celebrate, and it's going to be such a special day!

One of my favorite desserts in candle form, which is to DIE FOR.

The iRobot Roomba.  We got this during Christmas and I love it!   It goes under the bed, transitions from carpet to tile, gets under the dressers, and leaves my house spotless whenever it's on.  I am 100% on board with things that make my life easier.

We decided to hold off on getting a new deck and instead give our old deck a fresh coat of white paint.  Good as new :)

This Arrived at My Front Door Yesterday...

I am so excited to share that my family recently acquired Harvest 2 U. Harvest 2 U is a brilliant company that delivers organic locally grown produce right to your front door.  I received my first box yesterday, and I am already obsessed!  It was FILLED with so many beautiful fruits and vegetables. The best part is that all of them were picked fresh from local farms that same morning.

I love supporting local farmers and this is the perfect way to do that.  It's also incredibly inspiring to cook with in season fresh veggies that I may otherwise not have purchased at the store.  Meals around here are about to get a lot more fun!

Harvest 2 U currently delivers to homes within Riverside County and North San Diego County. If you are local to these areas it is so worth it to give this a try!  You will love it!

I tried out a portable infrared sauna this week and it was pretty awesome!  It improves the body's immunity, resistance to illness, blood circulation and more! You sweat like crazy but feel super energized after you're done.

Diffusing oils in my house to help combat colds and boost energy.  So happy I purchased this, I love it!

Whew it's been a week.  Thank the sweet lord it's Friday and we have an extra long weekend (thanks presidents).  We have some pretty big changes that are happening in our lives right now, and it felt like this week in particular was extra stressful.  But that's how life goes.  You have to adapt and roll with the changes.  On an extra happy note...my best friend who lives in Maui is down visiting, and I can't wait to have some much needed girl catch up time over a generous amount of wine.

Things That Make Me Say Yeay

A strawberry pie cream pop, which was sooo good.  I think winter forgot about us here in Southern California, and I am actually totally fine with that.  Summer forever please.

Things That Make Me Say Yeay

I did it! I got my conch pierced, and I love it. I would say I have a pretty good pain tolerance, but OH MANNNNN this thing freakin hurt!  For now I have to keep in the stud that they put in at the shop, but once it heals I plan on changing it out with a small gold hoop.

Daily step tracking with my Fitbit, which I love so far.  My daily goal is 10,000 steps and so far so good!

A new vegetable I am excited to try, which is called a Romanesco Cauliflower.  Pretty cool looking right?  Also... by the looks of this picture I am in major need of some lotion ASAP.

Finished up painting the open shelving in my kitchen yesterday.  It just needs a few more minor things and it will officially be done. I will share all the details of the after soon!
