Things That Make Me Say Yeay

Woa that's some crazy hair!  My husband and I did a mud run last weekend called a "Love Mud Run."  It was intense but such a blast!  At the end you got sud-ified with a bunch of soap and then sprayed down by firefighters.  Not a bad way to end the event :)

Roasted Coconut Chips from Traders Joe's.  I ate the whole bag in a day.

What a typical  morning looks like... Ronin in my bed, baby toys everywhere, and all of Max's stuffed animals next to me and I do not mind one bit.  I am still trying to get Ronin to sleep through the night, but he still refuses even with all my effort.  I have dreams about what it is like to actually get a full 6 (that's all I'm asking for) hours of uninterrupted sleep.  One day.

An adorable coffee cup cozy made by my friend.  I love it.

Max all set up in the Kelty Pack on our hike the other day.  This thing is awesome especially since most toddlers want to get carried anyway after hiking for about 20 minutes.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Have a great weekend, Lindsay! That run looks fun...or should I say the part about getting sprayed down by firefighters. ;) One day Ronin is going to shock you and just decide to sleep through the night I bet. It's a darn good thing little babies are so cute!

Such a cool thing to do with your hubby. And girl, you are a rockstar for doing it so soon after baby (who is getting so big btw!).
I am going to make plans to tackle a 10k in the fall...gotta have something to motivate you post birth;)

I feel your sleep deprived pain! My friend Alexa introduced me to your blog when I was pregnant with my little dude, who is now 5.5 months old. If you're somewhat local (I know you meet up with Alexa sometimes, not sure where you live?) and you have the means to pay- you should look into getting a sleep coach. I just met with Lauren Boston and she was sooooooooo helpful! Sometimes it's nice to just have someone to ask questions and help make a personalized schedule for you and your baby! Money is tight for us, but I'm willing to do anything to get more than 2 hours of strait sleep. Check her out (or someone close to you) Good luck!

Fun! Curious (if you don't mind) ... how did you handle the mud run/suds/water with your pump? I always worry about accidentally getting mine wet. :(

The love run looks like a lot of fun! And I love that cozy, it's so cute! And I know how you feel with Ronin, when I was spending the night at my grandparents up the street, they babysit my baby cousin a lot so when I woke up one time I was literally BURIED in her toys.. :)

I love Trader Joe's, being that's where I can find a few of my Aussie fav's that I miss from back home. Now I'll have to be sure to make another visit soon for those Roasted Coconut Chips!

I'm always amazed and inspired by those that do the mud runs, or marathons. I so want to do that one day...but I'm too afraid, for now. Maybe one day.
