Things That Make Me Say Yeay

My sweet friend teaching me the basics of crochet.  My goal is make my own chunky scarf for the fall and winter.

A new type of infusion set for my insulin pump.  My old one was causing all sorts of ugly issues.

Octoberfest.  We went last weekend and it was so much fun!

Ronin all bundled up in Big Bear.

The cutest little striped crew--completely unplanned by us Moms during an afternoon play date.  It felt picture worthy :)  Oh and woopsie....Ronin's belly is hangin over his pants ha.  Yes, my child is massive I am aware.  Apparently the Paleo diet is also good for breastfeeding.

Have a wonderful weekend!  We are heading out this weekend to find the perfect pumpkin.  Hopefully the day goes a little smoother than last year ;)

Oh I want to learn to crochet! I think finding some activity like that that I can do in the fall and winter when I'm cozied up inside watching a movie sounds perfect :) That picture of Ronin with his hat - SO cute! Have a great time pumpkin picking! haha I remember your picture from last year - hope it goes better!

I would love to crochet! My Granny tried to teach me years ago, but she was right handed, I left. Love the kid pics!

I made a chunky knit scarf. Crochet may be out of my league. Never heard of those infusion sets before. I'm still using the Quick Set, which is fine for me so far. Good luck with the new ones! Happy Weekend!

Hello from a fellow type 1 momma. I'm pregnant again and I'm really interested in the continuous monitoring thing, can you send me an email with your thoughts? I want the good and the bad. I currently have the one touch ping (animas). Thanks, I love your blog! sarashleybrandon@gmail.com

Yay for new infusion sets! I had some problems with mine a few years ago and switched to the Sure-Ts. I've never heard of the ones you just got though...I'll have to look into them! :)

Crocheting is amazing! I taught myself how to...Youtube is wonderful for learning new stitches, instead of pictures who don't show you everything, haha.

https://www.ravelry.com/ << it has TONS of free patterns. Tons and tons. And you can set it up to show patterns for certain weights of yarn, etc.

For the benefit of all of us T1s out there, would you mind writing just a mini-review on the Mios? I recently had to switch to the silhouettes because I kept losing the quick-sets when I work out. But I feel like the silhouettes get far more sore and sensitive, especially if I have a baby on my hip!

Kerry- you are so sweet! Thank you. I get my hair done at a salon. I wish I did it myself...I would save so much money :)

Sami- I would love to do that!
