Things that make me say yeay

Friday, March 2, 2012

Every time I see these kind of pictures on Pinterest they kind of weird me out. A giant hand holding a nail polish is a little strange no?...BUT it is the best way to showcase a fun color. I am loving bright shades like this one from OPI called Green-Wich Village.

Two thrifted world globes for Ronin's Nursery.

Gathering seeds to plant in our garden for spring. My Dad recently gave me calendula seeds so we can grow organic calendula flowers. I love how he wrote "Google it!" on the card--ha! Even though I know what calendula is, that made me laugh.

This is what Max thinks of potty training. He would much rather wear his potty seat like a sombrero than actually sit on it. I had high hopes but he is terrified of the big potty! I guess my reality will be two kids in diapers...bummer.

Saturday night yogurt for the whole family. I found this awesome self serve place that has low carb ice cream and I am so excited about it. Can you tell which one is my husband's? No wonder our total was like $10.

Have a wonderful weekend! Any fun plans? My best friend is down vising from Maui (lucky girl) so I am excited to spend some quality girl time this weekend catching up.

Your son looks adorable with his new sombrero! At least he's getting comfortable with it... :) I'll be doing some shopping with my sis this weekend and then maybe off to a dog park with my husband if the weather is nice!

I love the nail color! I have the big hand pics on my blog since I do nail art and swatches LOL. It is kind of freaky!

BTW, you should check out OPI's new Holland Collection. I am working on compiling the whole thing and the colors are beautiful!

I know what you mean about the giant hands. It's so hard to make your hand look appealing too! Mine always look like mine hands. That color is super pretty though, and perfect for St. Patrick's Day!

Have I mentioned how much I love the name Ronin?! So precious.

That picture of Max is adorable! That would be a great one to frame and have around the house! That green nail polish would be perfect for St Patrick's Day! Random side note, I always think that OPI has the best nail polish names. I secretly wish I could be the person who names them, how awesome would that be!

Happy Friday!

We need to get a potty seat too... I know mine is starting to get the concept of her bowel movements because she will freak out if she's in the tub and has to go potty (no matter which it is) and will get out and insist we put on a diaper. I've tried putting her on the toilet (the big one) after these incidences and it totally freaks her out. We'll have two in diapers too.

I might have to have a frozen yogurt date with the family tonight :) We have an awesome self-serve place near us too, though I don't know about the low-carb bit.

1) You are braver than I am to "go green". Haha!
2) Your dad is funny...and cool.
3) Two kids in diapers? That's nuthin'! I had THREE! Can we say "I should've bought stock in Pampers?"
3.5) Max is adorable. (Had to throw that in!)
4) Men.

Heehee.
Have a great weekend. That will be so fun to spend time with your friend. There's nothing like girl hangout time. :)

I'm so excited to see the finished nursery!!!

Your husband's toppers looks like something mine would do. Anything with sprinkles on it and he acts like a kid.

I'm totally jealous of your seeds - I just want ONE nice day to get out and start cleaning up the yard!!!!

I'm loving the bright polish for the spring. I see a lot of nail color in my future!! We just got back from a cruise & I had a gorgeous blue on my toes, Sea? I Told You! Love OPI names.

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad to hear this because my daughter is freaked out by the big potty too! I'm thinking I need to get her her own little potty rather than the seat that goes on the big potty. It might just be too intimidating! Love that nail polish color... your picture isn't creepy at all :)

Maybe he wants a potty training hat! I used to use this special magician hat that my son would wear and we would say that it was a special hat to help him use the potty, it kind of helped him to get excited about it!

Haha! That last photo reminds me of when my husband and I go out for frozen yogurt. Usually I'm the one who goes overboard with the yogurt and toppings and my husband is the one with self-control. :)

That green color is perfect for spring! Love it.
