Things That Make Me Say Yeay

Our first time making homemade playdough, and it was a success! The boys had a blast helping and watching it transform into a playdough state...plus it smells absolutely amazing thanks to the Blue Razzle Jello-O packet we used :)

A delicious and impressive charcuterie plate that Ian and I shared on a recent date.  Oh how I loooooove a good charcuterie plate.

Max graduated Kindergarten this week and I am so proud of this sweet little man! We are going to have the best summer ever before he heads off to the big first grade.

Things That Make Me Say Yeay

Routine morning snuggles with my two favorite little people.

My sweet neighbor brought over these beautiful flowers from her garden along with chocolate chip cookies.  She also occasionally brings over solo beers and glasses of wine, which I must say is pretty awesome too :)  I mean...as far as neighbors are concerned you can't get any better.  We really lucked out considering we didn't even know our previous neighbors first names until the day we moved out of our last home.  True story!

Project Life, which has become my latest obsession.  Have you heard of this yet?  It's makes documenting life easy and fun.  No scissors, glue and all the other little do-dahs that you need with regular scrapbooking (which I am not a fan of).  This takes all of the hard work out with ready to go slots for pictures and cute little already made inserts which you can write on to record special memories.  I dig it.

A fun flea market find that was recently hung in Max's room.  I felt like it was only necessary to introduce him to the band that is now displayed on his wall and he now requests "Yellow Submarine" every time we get in the car :)

Latest Life Snippets

Happy Valentine's Day!  This is the first year since we have had kids that one of the grandparents actually volunteered to watch the boys so we could have a date! Thank you, Mom.

Here are a few latest life snippets according to my iPhone and Instagram (@Delightedmomma)...

1. A little look into Ronin's room.  I recently added a few new things and I am so happy with how it has all come together. 
2. A seriously awesome HomeGoods find that I just had to have for my kitchen.  My husband on the other hand said it reminded him of a vegan eating, cat hoarding lady who lives alone in San Francisco.  HAHA!  I actually kind of liked that description so I kept it.
3. My best friend of 15 years flew down from Hawaii this week and we had a catch up session over the best gluten free (that phrase is starting to bug me) pizza from Against The Grain.  If your local heath food store carries it you must try it!  
4. Sunset view from our backyard.  This scene will never get old. 
5. Waking up before anyone else and enjoying a up of coffee all my myself.  Heaven. 
6. Last week when Max was not feeling the best his little brother was so worried.  I snapped this sweet picture of Ronin giving Max a hug while he was sleeping.  They are the best of pals.
