Week 2 Update of Ronin's Swim Lessons (Video)

Friday, May 29, 2015

It's now week #2 of swim lessons for Ronin and I cannot say enough positive things about the Swim Float Swim program he is in.  He is doing better than I could have ever imagined and I am so happy that I decided to go with these particular type of lessons. He is already floating, rolling over and swimming on his own and I am beyond thrilled!

You can watch a video below of his progress, which was taken yesterday during his lesson.  I love that little pouty lip right before he went ;)

On a side note: Thank you to everyone who left sweet comments regarding our new house venture here on the blog and on Instagram.  We are so excited to get started with everything and I am looking forward to sharing all the updates with you!  As of today we get the keys, so tonight will definitely call for a little celebration.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Wow that is impressive! How old is Ronin? maybe it's the age but I can't imagine my son doing this... It's so cool!

Meghan- he will be two in a couple of weeks :) And I am sure your son could do this! I've seen children as young as 6 months floating and swimming in this program! It's pretty incredible.

Lindsay, is this the kind where they drop them in the pool? The swimming is so impressive, but it scares me to think of them just dropping my little one into the water like that. Good job Ronin! I'm sure this gives you so much peace of mind!

Hi Kristen- He willingly jumps in the pool when asked and sometimes does a guided jump where his teacher holds his hand but he has never been pushed or dropped. That would scare me too! I think you may be thinking of ISR, which is a different method of teaching :)

You are right, ISR is what I had heard of before. So nice to know there is a way to get these amazing results without having to do that. I just looked it up and there is a swim float swim program near us so I may just have to check it out. Thank you for posting about this!!
