Things That Make Me Say Yeay

Getting my eyebrows threaded for the first time. Best thing ever! I will never get them waxed again. No redness, no breakouts and I feel like they look so much better compared to when I get them waxed.

A beautiful weekend wine country walk with my family...ahhh wine I miss you!

My new crochet necklace made by my sweet friend. I LOVE it. We did a little crafty trade...polymer clay beaded necklace for a crochet necklace. I think it will look perfect with a plain white tee. You can check out her adorable shop here.

Sports themed Easter eggs for Max. This will be his first year doing an Easter egg hunt and I am pretty excited about it!

Ian and I with Max last Easter. I can not wait for our second addition to be here so he can join in on all the fun.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Easter!

those pictures are so cute at the end.

and yes - threading is awesome. i get my eyebrows threaded and i have no idea why anyone would get their eyebrows waxed when you can get them threaded, exactly for the reasons you stated.

oh man... I got mine threaded a few times and it hurt like a mofo! I prefer waxing- one (well, two) rip and it's done! :) Have a great weekend!

Awwww! He's so CUTE!!

I've never gotten my eyebrows threaded but everyone I know who does raves about it. Me and my Brooke Shields eyebrows may need to go this route in the future.

Isn't threading the absolute best invention ever in the name of eyebrows? I use to be a wax girl too but really I was sold on the fact that threading cost $15 less than waxing around here! Have a great Easter!

The threaded thing freaks me out, but you really liked it?? I want to see your 'brows!

I always get my brows threaded, it's amazing isn't it! I have really thick hair and they still stay nice for at least 4 weeks, and so much less painful than waxing! Hope you have a perfect easter! xxx

I've never figured out how in the world they do that whole threading thing, but have heard...once again...that it's great. Awesome! (I don't get out much. Ha.)

At least you have a really good reason why you miss your wine. ;)

Sweet baby Max pics. [grin]

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

I love threading too. I haven't done it in awhile, but I think it's so much better then waxing. Specially with sensitive skin! No breakouts and turning red! Love it!

Hello!
I've been reading your blog for a long time now and I was wondering if you could do me a favor. I just started up my DIY blog and it would be great if you could take a look at it. I'll be adding lots of tutorials soon so if you could just leave a comment about what you think that would be very very much appreciated!

I used to get my brows threaded but switched back to waxing bc it was hard to find places that did threading. It is nice, but I still got really red! The waxes I request are always the sensitive skin ones so I don't breakout and it seems to work.

Hope you had a happy Easter!!

Just found your blog via another blogger friend's comment box!! And you too found the art of threading! I grew up in India and there this is THE only way women groom the eyebrows..When I first came to US, I was baffled by the waxing of the eyebrows!! You have a beautiful and inspiring blog!! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
