A Little Hello From Nashville

Sunday, August 21, 2011

We have arrived and HOLY cowsss it is HOT and humid! Ian is working pretty much the whole time so me and max have just been exploring (getting lost) and enjoying the beautiful Opryland hotel. This place is HUGE..too bad I cant leave a little trail of crackers so I know how to get back to our room each time we leave. Ian is off to a meet and greet party and Max and are off to the gelato shop downstairs. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

I do not envy the heat, but a trip away from the to-do list and daily chores sounds like heaven. Enjoy!!!

I am not too far from Nashville (1 hour) and yes, it is SO HOT and HUMID!!!! Have a great time, you'll love Nashville. They have great Farmer's Markets there. I usually go to the one on Rosa Parks Blvd. and occasionally you'll see a celebrity or two. The wonderful thing is how down to earth they are, so don't be afraid to say hello. (Not trying to name drop here, but Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were standing next to me buying cheese at the NFM and I got so nervous I left my own cheese at the stand and had to go back later. They were SO SUPER nice to my two boys though!!!)

Oh, but Nashville is one of my favorite places! Super tourist-y, but are you planning to check out a honkytonk? 'Cause, um, that would be fun. :)

I can't believe you are in Nashville! That's where I'm from! My family is like 10 minutes from Opryland - I got married at their golf course! How long are you going to be there? My parents are watching Caroline for the week and I'll be going down to pick her up.

My sister and I went on a road trip to Nashville and stayed there too. We even ate where you guys are at, lol Loved, loved, loved that place! I want to move there.
